| Cast iron turret was Meta-Lax stress relieved at Parker Boring as a semi-finished assembly. Notice center shaft, tool steel was already finished as was the low carbon steel bracket. But the cast iron turret needed final machining on the six bores and faces. The worst distortion in 108 turrets only had .0005-inch distortion.
