| Longeron, 7075 aluminum, 25-feet long, started weighing 1600-lbs., and finished weighing about 625-lbs., It was Meta-Lax stress relieved as a raw forging. Without Meta-Lax processing the longerons would distort between .150-.200-inch. With Meta-Lax processing longerons distorted .085-inch (at least a 43% improvement). |
